Data Security
How we protect the information you share with us through this website.
WLTR builds software for laboratories that operate under strict data integrity expectations, and we hold our own website to the same standard of care. This page describes how we protect information collected through wltr.tech (the “Site”).
Scope
This page covers the public Site and the information submitted through its forms. Security controls for the WLTR platform are documented separately and provided to customers and pilot participants under the applicable agreement. To request platform security documentation, contact admin@wltr.tech.
Data Minimization
Site forms ask only for the business contact and laboratory context information needed to respond to your request. We ask that you do not submit confidential laboratory data, raw instrument data, patient information, or credentials through the Site.
Encryption in Transit
All traffic to and from the Site is served over HTTPS using TLS encryption, including every form submission.
Hosting and Infrastructure
The Site is hosted with a managed WordPress hosting provider that maintains physical security of its data centers, network-level protections, and infrastructure monitoring.
Access Control
Administrative access to the Site is restricted to authorized WLTR personnel who require it for their role.
Maintenance
We maintain the Site’s software, themes, and plugins and remove components that are no longer in use. Public comments are disabled across the Site to reduce spam and abuse.
Service Providers
We use a limited number of service providers to operate the Site, such as hosting, form processing, productivity tools, and analytics, and limit them to processing information on our behalf.
Incident Response
If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information collected through the Site, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law, including Nevada’s data breach notification statute (NRS 603A).
Reporting a Vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability on the Site, please email admin@wltr.tech with a description and steps to reproduce. Please do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours, and allow us reasonable time to address the issue before any public disclosure. We appreciate good-faith reports and will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow these guidelines.
